Brandon started his bagpiping journey through joining the Cornwall Caledonia Pipe Band. Here is where he learnt everything he needed to become a proficient player. After a few years passed he then joined the City of Truro Pipes and Drums, where he eventually worked his way up through the ranks and became Pipe Sergeant.
Brandon left Cornwall for a few years, relocating to the City of York. He joined the City of York Pipes and Drums who competed at a Grade 3 level which was a higher level to his previous bands. Here he gained valuable knowledge through their successive achievements, in both piping ensemble and technique.
Brandon then moved back to Cornwall where he is now piping solo over the South West.
Through his piping career, Brandon has been involved in many events and experiences, including playing for Sir Rod Stewart during his 2019 UK Tour, playing at the passing of the torch for the Olympic Games, piping for the Late Lady Mary of Cornwall at the Trebah Airborne Forces and Military Day, and not to forget, leading his local band at the Harpenden Highland Festival.
